Thinking about buying a Benelli Cafe racer 1130cc bike.
used to have a 2007 kawazaki z1000. would you say the benelli will be a better bike to have in the long run..

If you have time, money and don't mind getting your hands dirty then go for it, would be an awesome experience.

Been tempted by the Beneli every time i see one. Then i remember a chap at work who bought one and he had no end of trouble. Lost a fair amount of cash from it at the time. I guess that will have all offset now, but if you like to own a tinkering type of bike then go for it i would say look awesome imo.

Been looking at getting a 2008 z1000 or a 2007 aprilia tuono. had the z1000 before and loved it. just dont know much about the aprilia tuono. anyone here had one and what is it like. thanks in response ;)

Tuono is brutal. Especially the Factory model like I have.
The riding position is nice and comfy (although I've got the footrests lowered using Aprilia Performance reaersets) and around town etc it's pretty docile. Twist that throttle though and up comes the front.

By all accounts they are pretty reliable. Build quality is good with thick paint and nicely finished ally parts. Factory drips with Ohlins and carbon fibre.

If you can stretch to a Factory model, do it. The Ohlins rides much better on our bumpy roads. The standard model is great too though.

Talking about Aprillias, I almost pulled the trigger on a 2003 RSV Factory on saturday, lovely bike, but just didn't feel right so I passed.
