Hi,
I've been looking for a monitor to be used for design work and non-competitive gaming (though I do like FPS i don't play online).
I've decided to go IPS after buying a VA monitor under the idea that these were a happy medium between IPS and TN but the ghosting was so bad it made games (Wolfenstein II at the moment) unplayable so I returned it. I need good colour reproduction so TN is out of the picture. I do a lot of black and white work so having decent, inky blacks would be ideal too.
I think I'm pretty set on BenQ BL2480T (https://www.benq.eu/en-uk/monitor/business/bl2480t.html), the specs seems decent and it's a recently released display so I'm assuming it will have a more recent panel. It's amazing a lot of the monitors available have been so for years (does this make a difference?)
I am however, intrigued by a few AOC panels, the 24P1 (https://eu.aoc.com/en/products/24p1) and the I2475PXQU (https://eu.aoc.com/en/products/i2475pxqu). The first very new so I wonder whether the panel reflects that and the latter has a faster response time of 4ms (the BenQ also has a slower speed of 5ms).
Open for other suggestions though.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated!
