BenQ BL3201PT 4K IPS

What are peoples thoughts on this monitor as there are not many reviews and can be had for less than the Philips BDM4065UC i have on order from else where, would there be much difference between the 2 rather than Size ? I like the extra connectivity with the BenQ and of course the BenQ is a pro IPS screen .

I guess one of the draw backs of being IPS on such a big screen could be glow.

I actually have one of these Benq, and I have found it to be excellent all round so far, and no problems so far- touch wood. lol.

The ips glow is obviously present, and in truth probably a bit noticeable because of the size of the screen as mentioned above - but I do not in any way find it obtrusive. It is even ok for gaming as well. It is not as good for gaming as others that are purely aimed at gaming, but the refresh rate of 4ms is very acceptable to me.

I dont think the BenQ BL3201PT is an IPS panel. It is a AHVA panel which has deeper blacks and no IPS glow.

Yes but it is IPS technology - just Benq version/name for it. btw - it does have some glow - not bad, but it is there. I should know - I have one sat in front of me.

thanks lads , i was set and have on order the 40" Philips but now people are having problems with that monitor and just weighing up alternatives .
