Hey im going to be getting a new 24" monitor soon with a budget of around £460 when some money comes it but it seems to be slow at coming right now grrr! Anyway this monitor seems perfect except for the buttons being on the side but thats something i can live with. Every review has loved it and when comparing it to the dell all have said its better. But there was an issue on release that any 1080i content would play at 1900x1080 and be streched to fill the screen. Serposidly there was a firmware update which fixed this but it couldn't be done y the user and had to be done by a techy guy.

Now this was in 2006 and ic ant find any new reviews. So has the 1:1 pixel mapping been totaly fixed and now there are no more issues with the monitor? Or is it more of a bodge job?

reading the offical thread last few posts some people are talkign about a black out problem?

:EDIT:

I read the fix only came out in september 07? if so then the stock could be old stock and i may have the pixel mapping problems?
