BenQ FP241W PS3 Query

I have this monitor with the old firmware and running a PS3 through the HDMI port is a bit crappy as its stretched.

If I run it through the DVI port is the problem still present?

It's still 1920x1080 so you will still need 1:1

BenQ offer a firmware update facility don't they, contact them and they'll do the update for you.

Yea they do but I dont have a spare monitor at present and so cant lose mine for the 7 days or whatever.

What I meant was that the 1:1 issue is present over HDMI, but i read somewhere that it isnt an issue over DVI - ie it works. Does anyone know if this is the case and if i should get a dvi converter?
