Benq G2222HDL - anyone else noticed the 'scanlines' effect?

Hi all,
I've just bought one of these as part of my Christmas rebuild, and I've noticed my current one seems to suffer from what almost appears to be scanlines in the bottom half of the screen. Its more noticeable on a pale, solid background, and quite literally looks as if there is thin, evenly spaced (about 1mm apart), horizontal, slightly darker lines going across, especially in the lower middle part of the screen, which is why I dub this scanlines as it looks very similar.

Now, it's not 'too' obvious, but I can see it clearly enough it's a little annoying, I've seen some mixed info on whether this is a general 'feature' of this screen, or perhaps something that some batches/screens do worse than others, as some people have chocked it down to a fault, some to the downside of LED backlighting, and some to just being slightly cheaper protectors over the backlights, and it looks like I'm not the first to request a replacement for it, but haven't seen much feedback from AFTER replacements.

Just thought I'd see if anyone else with this screen has experienced this, and if so whether they did anything else about it? It's more or less my own real complaint about this monitor for the £100 I paid for it, it's just a shame as this mars whats otherwise pretty reasonable image for a £100 screen with TN!
It does however also seem pretty possible that due to the cost of the screen, the QC just isn't as strong, as it's not something I've seen mentioned in the reviews.

Company X are sending me another one to try out :)
I can't put it down to cables as the lines dont move at all and appear to be fixed, suggesting it's not interference, and the cable came from another screen which exhibited no issues :)

This doesn't bode well, I hope I'm not in the same boat"

Do BenQ deal with RMA's direct?

Not a clue, the place I got mine from have sent me a replacement directly and told me to send the other one back once I've recieved the new one which is due in 2/3 days. Will test the new one, if this has the issue I guess I'll have to stump up and spend a little more, which is a shame as it's largely a really nice monitor for £100, nicer than I was expecting, although obviously within reason for it's price :)

I've just recieved my replacement today and managed to take it out of the box.

It seems this one also has the issue, BUT it's less noticeable. The colour balance on this one is a bit different too, even at the same settings it has more of a yellowish tinge, oh well I'm nitpicking now :p This leads me to believe it's somewhat of a feature of this batch at least of the screens, but the severity varies from screen to screen.

I'm gonna give this screen a play for a few days and then see what I feel like doing.
