I've just bought a BenQ G2222HDL monitor and it's absolutely excellent apart from one small niggle: the screen occasionally goes black for about 3-4 seconds then comes back on..
This has only happened a handful of times, but then again I've only had it for a couple of days. It's not actually too much of an issue, because it only goes black (as if the screen has been turned off) for a few seconds, then comes back to life. This can happen when I'm typing, so it's not Windows putting it to bed - I don't think. Also, when it happens the light stays green, instead of going orange when it's on standby, suggesting it should still be on and isn't actually asleep.
I was just wondering if anyone else may have noticed this, or hopefully has a cure? It's not massively annoying.. yet.. but it is brand new, so I kinda want it to be perfect.
The rest of my computer setup is brand new too, but I don't know if that bears any relevance to this situation? My graphics card is a GTX 460 if that's of any use?
Anyway, thanks in advance if anyone can help!
