Benq G222HDL - still the choice at the price?

I bought (for a friend) a Benq G222HDL about six months ago. For the money, is it still about as good as you can expect?
I have another friend that wants to buy a new monitor this week. Looking at this sort of price. Should I advise him to get the Benq or is there anything else at around the same price?
