I have purchased the above item after reading some impresive reviews but was wondering what others on here think of it who own or have owned it?

Seeing as i set myself a budget of £150 i got a good deal on this so for that i'm pleased but want people opinion on build & pic quality etc.

well i connected this monitor up last night and was instantly impressed.

Connected through DVI the monitor then auto adjusted itself and was clear as a bell with no dead pixels.

Adjusted the res through ccc and was amazed at how much difference there is from going 19" 1440x900 upto 24" 1920x1080. Screen space is just amazing and the picture quality was crisp and sharp.

Only game i had a run through was Crysis and there was no image blur and the graphics looked ace. Very clear and bright.

Only niggle i have with the monitor is everytime i switch back and forth from a game it flashes up a note saying i'm connected through DVI. it's only there for 3 seconds but still annoying. Also did this through each bench run on vantage.

on a funnier note when i ran Vantage at 1920x1080 to see a difference in score and it came back as zero. It gave a GPU and CPU score but overall was zero. not sure why unless vantage has a bug when running at 1920x1080????

sorry it's not a real indepth review or anything but i'm dead pleased with it and glad i chose this over the 22" Samsung i was going to get.

how much did you pay?

I brought this monitor from OCuK about a month ago, its amazing for £150 of course its not
going to be as good as the high even non TN panels, but serisouly for 150 quid what more
could you want. Its perfect for anything I run DVI thing is a tad bit annoying but Ive got
a hp 19" w1907v next to it and seems to respond slower (maybe just a 2nd monitor thing).

I fell my rig is complete for now, the 19" is just so pathetic these days.

Also the build quality feels pretty good, nice bit of weight to it and I like the gloss finish,
people do not belive it cost ~£150.

Joining the BenQ club as well, just ordered my G2410HD :)

this was on one of my top list of monitors to pick but the lack of hdmi input made me choose the Iiyama ProLite B2409HDS 24" instead which i am getting used to now ( btw i havent used the hdmi input yet lol )

My BenQ G2410HD arrived today and just set it up. Looks superb, I very impressed. However I have a very light humming noise coming from the screen. Anybody else got this?

Hmm if I set the brightness to between 95 and 100 the humming goes away. Not sure I want to run the brightness that high, it feels very tiring on my eyes. Should I consider returning it.

there isn't any humming here on mine. Got the picture mode set to dynamic (origionaly standard) Brightness to 90 and contrast to 60. Seems perfect for me and not too bright.

Its apparently quite a common thing with the monitor, the humming noise apparently gets louder as you reduce the brightness but is silent at 100% brigtness which is (as most Tn panels) just a little too bright for most peoples liking, really depends on how close you sit to it.

Quite a few reviews that I have read on the screen have picked up on the issue :(

It might be OK, I've just read that people suggest running the brightness on the monitor at 100 and then adjusting the brightness of the graphics card
