BenQ G2420HD calibration issues.

So I just got my 1080, but had to switch to using an HDMI cable as it didn't like the DVI I was using previously. The issue is doing so has screwed my monitor calibration and I can't seem to fix it.

Everything is washed-out, and when I try the various colour & contrast test images I can clearly tell blacks from greys, but even at 0 brightness on the monitor menu I can't distinguish between close shades of white. Running the Windows 7 colour calibration tool just gives everything a yellowish tint. All the various guides keep saying I should adjust my Gamma but this monitor doesn't appear to have a Gamma slider just brightness, contrast, and RGB colours.

Any advice?

Nvidia Control Panel - Display - Change resolution - Output dynamic range to 'Full'.

Sorted.

Cool, blacks are no longer totally washed out, thanks :D

New issues: I'm using a couple of online calibration tools, they all report my monitor resolution as 1536x864 for some reason, despite it being 1920x1080 in Nvidia Control Panel and in the Win7 Display menu. Are they just wrong, or am I missing something else obvious?

You're not accidentally using scaling (zoom) on the browser or something are you? Or in Windows?

Yup, had my DPI scaling at 125% in Windows(and given how tiny everything went when I put it back to normal, I suspect I set it that way deliberately years ago and just forgot). Thanks again chief.
