BenQ G2420HDBL help

Hi just got my BenQ G2420HDBL and it seems like when i Press the auto key nothing happens. Is there meant to be a pop up that appears or not? I am trying to calibrate the colour myself but i kinda suck at it .

Is it connected via DVI? I think the auto only works with RGB connection?

Yes this is true.

Auto (I think) only changes the clock, phase and position settings on the monitor not colour settings.
