Ok, this has been baffling me for awhile now and I can't for the life of me figure out what the problem is.
My monitor is a G2420HDBL and when I first brought it over a couple of years ago, the DVI input used to be able to work from any source that is directly connected to the DVI input.
However, the monitor's DVI input will no longer work unless the signal passes through my 1x2 HDMI splitter box which I brought a year ago and when the monitor is connected directly to the source i.e PS4, Wii U or PC etc, the monitor displays a "no signal detected" message.
Can someone try and explain to me logically why the monitors DVI input is able to work via a 1x2 HDMI splitter but when connected directly to the source, theres no signal detected?
Thanks
