Hey guys,

Having issues with my current monitor that I have mentioned in a previous thread, I have decided to change.

I am looking at the BenQ RL Series RL2755HM 27" monitor.

It will be for PC gaming, (mainly CS GO) and my XBOX ONE.

Can someone confirm how good this will be for the above, or if not the best, a good alternate for a similar price point. Oh, and needs to be a 27" monitor, cheers.

Here's the thing, Console gaming & CS:GO have radically different requirements in terms of monitors. For the former you'd want 1080p + IPS, for the latter you'd want 144hz - unfortunately more hz doesn't do anything with console gaming so that'd be a waste, while for CS:GO IPS benefits are kinda moot as you'd likely want to amp the saturation anyway.

So here's what I'd say, think about which is more important for you:

If consoles, get: Iiyama ProLite XB2783HSU-1
If CS:GO, get: Iiyama Prolite GB2788HS-B1

Imo that BenQ is way overpriced for what it offers, I wouldn't buy it.

Thanks for the reply dude. On the GB2788HS-B1 will it still run an Xbox one well?

Can I use the menu system to change between sources of Xbox and pc? As that is the issue for am having at the moment with my iiyama.

If I go for the pro lite GB2788HS-B1 I use a gtx 1060, can I still use the 144hz through windows settings? Or is that a freesync only refresh rate?

Yeah, it should switch between the two fine, worst case scenario you'd have to switch to 60hz before using the xbox. And yes, it can do 144hz normally outside of freesync.
