Morning guys I bought this monitor hooked it up to the Xbox one X got no dead pixels / backlight bleed its perfect, feels very responsive in games like PUBG big difference between my Sony 55" 4k hdr XE9005 and the RL2455. I have couple questions if anyone knows the answers please.

AMA seems a waste of time setting it to HIGH seems to leave a very obvious glow. setting it to premium even worse. setting it to OFF is better but they now is a bit of blur. With the AMA setting off does it now not become as responsive? I know the 1ms is false claim GTG not all colours

Will I always get ghosting like the BenQ is showing with AMA off am I wasting my swapping for another monitor? this BenQ seems like its all aimed to that AMA setting being active ?

Thanks

Is there a TN panel out there that won't blur or ghost without a gimmick feature? As I can't see these features working to well with console gaming.

Hmm ok, see if somebody can answer this for me please. If I turn off AMA ( don't have much choice ) will this add more input lag and make the monitor less responsive? Thanks

Leave AMA on high, you will still get artifacts but they aren't that noticeable. Also the 'Instant on' mode is supposed to make the monitor run with less input lag, but as the review says testing showed it was the same with it on/off. I'm not sure if its just placebo though but on my Xbox One I feel like its more responsive with it off.

I have this monitor from before they rebranded them Zowie and it does it's job, the only problem is the gamma is way out from factory and you can't really correct it so the contrast is terrible.

Before you decide on keeping it though check out https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-24-inch-Monitor-FreeSync-Flicker/dp/B01I1RET3M I had one for a bit and its way better quality than the Benq, build quality and screen.

Hi thanks for the reply.

I can't leave it on AMA high while playing FIFA 18 the players leave like a green glow it looks terrible other games its not too bad but I play a lot of pro clubs. If I turn off AMA they is a tiny bit of blur not too bad.

I have had alook at the Asus it looks decent I am still not sure to keep this benq or go with that asus as I said this benq is perfect no backlight bleed and no pixels all good.

I have done plently of research and it seems at 60hz reguardless of overdrive system every panel can still blur / ghost so with that in mind im not sure to just cut losses and keep the RL2455 and just keep that AMA off.

You will probably find you need it on high for shooters and other fast games, its way too blurry without it. On cod I never noticed anything but on battlefield you see a bit of a halo on bullets, mainly can see it when you use snipers but its not really distracting.

Yeah well I play PUBG and FIFA at the moment and with AMA off its fine, with AMA on the GLOW trail is terrible very distracting. I don't know if I will gain anything by getting that asus or just stick with the Benq cant decide ill think it over thanks
