We've launched a few BenQ deals now on the LED panels but I think this is our best one yet. BenQ currently offer the V2400 Eco in the UK but it comes in white and has a plant pot holder. :( We've worked with BenQ to have the V2410 re-worked for the UK (hence we're the only people to have the stock) and can now offer it to our customers for next day delivery.

It comes with a what? Please explain this plant pot holder thing, does it just randomly come with a plant pot holder in the box or is this plant pot holder somehow attached to the screen.

I can imagine the advertising now, add to your crysis experience by adding REAL foliage :)

The V2410 doesn't have the plant pot holder which is why we have asked for it specifically but just to prove I'm not lying here is a picture of the V2400:

I might just be interested in this, at least as a temporary screen, considering the complete lack of decent IPS panels on the market at the moment. (I'm too scared to go with the Dell U2410.) Would have preferred a bit extra height, though (i.e., 16:10).

More and more panels will be making the move to 16:9 thanks to the invention of HD content. Wouldn't surprise me if 16:10 has vanished in 12 months time. Even the professional panels are starting to change (Dell U2711 for example).

Am I correct in the assumtion that the only change between the V2400 and V2410 ECO models is the removal of the plant pot. As the V2410 is a slighlty 'nichier' revision on an established model it will be easier to make judgements using the reviews for the V2400.

EDIT: I see the V2400 Also lacks DVI support

V2400 is white and doesn't have the plant pot of doom.

Any idea how these compare to the BenQ G2420HDBL ?

Just not sure which one to go for ?

It's the same panel with HDMI and some power saving stuff.:)

I'd take the BenQ anyday. LED backlighting for less money would easily win it for me. You've only got to look at the reviews of the G2420HDBL which shares the same panel to see how good they are.
