What does 1080p look like blown up that size?
Is a grey screen better?
Do you get the rainbow effect?
And does it walk all over watching a film on a TV considering I only have a 42" plasma
TI DarkChip3 isn't it? which is pretty decent though I prefer the Optomas with that processor but that is just me. Most people I know with the 1070 like it though.
No TV comes close to watching a big budget move on a wall sized screen and 1080p looks fine even 720p isn't too shabby - but personally I tend to turn back to a TV or PC monitor for watching TV shows, etc.
I came from a 42" 1080P Sony TV, never went back. Some of my downloads are 720p, looks fine. Had a look last week at a new more expensive projector, didn't see much difference.
Yeah I just want one for watching a couple of films at weekends as having a little one we don't really go out now. My only real concern is now light nights are coming
The price is pretty good right now. I have a ceiling mount and the screen is low on the wall. I used to have the PJ on a small table and it worked fine before it was mounted.
My mate has a more expensive PJ than me, he uses it on a flat, very smooth, painted wall. It's good but I feel I have the better image quality on my screen. Got it all from Richer Sounds.
Brilliant projector. I have one in my bedroom paired with a 100 inch screen. It's honestly the best media purchase I've ever made. Anyone who see's it is always amazed at how good the quality is, especially for the price I don't think it can be beaten.
Pair it with a decent sound system and you're golden.
