The BenQ monitor I have now has produced a very annoying fault.

I was wondering if anyone here have dealt with BenQ before with returning products etc.

If so, how is the experience with BenQ's RMA?

I would like to know more about this also. I plan to get a the BenQ FP241W, but i want to know more about the quality of BenQ's customer service. I have heard some bad things, and not many good things. This is the only reason I have been holding back from buying this monitor.

I asked OCUK, but they did not say anything about this, just that once you buy it from them you deal with BenQ direct. I also contacted BenQ like 3 days ago and still no response. So it cant be good.

Its scary to know if you are unlucky and the monitor you spent £400+ on develops a problem you have to wait weeks for it to be replaced. That's what i like Dell... They replace the next day :) But then their current 2408wfp has too many problems :(

Anyone here dealt with BenQ customer services? How long does it take to replace a monitor once it develops manufacturing defects? Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

I found Benq support pretty good. You have to ring their support line and request a swap out for your monitor. will take about a week but maybe less to come and swap your screen. It will go through repaitech and they will arange a time suitable to swap the screen.

Cheers mate. What info do you have to supply BenQ when requesting a swap?

In the end I did not receive a reply to my question regarding warranty from BenQ after 2 weeks. If that is an indication to go by, I would stay away from BenQ products. They may have a good monitor, but what happens when it breaks down a year or 2 down the line? You want to wait weeks, if not months in some cases I been reading online? No thanks.

So in the end I went for a Dell 2048WFP and I am happy with it. It does have a few problems but nothing that will majorly put your off. Also if it breaks down then at least i will be getting a new one the next day direct from Dell ;)
