Benq xl240t 120hz?

Im a tad confused how i get this monitor to 120hz

Do i just need a standard male to male Dvi or does it have to be a special type of dvi or something completely different?

Have looked around google but im lost.

You need a dual link DVI port/cable.

damn i just bought a dvi cable not sure if its dual link or not but given it was 2.99 i doubt it.

I purchased it from *no competitors* everything BUT the dvi cable was sent - emailed seller he is sending me cable but i dont know if it will be the correct one or just one he found lying around

You only need to look at the pins on the cable to tell if it's dual link or single link. Dual link cables shouldn't be expensive either

Dual-Link DVI cable will be rectangular pins whereas standard is two sets of squares with a gap between and you should have got it with the monitor.

+1. It should have been inside the sealed box, it must have been left out in the factory or something.
