Benq XL2410T Upgrade to....?

Hi All,

After seeing my friends LG IPS panel at a recent LAN event, I realised just how dull the colours are on my current Benq.

Problem is, I want to keep 120Hz and I know there arnt any IPS panels available yet for 120Hz. Are the newer 120Hz monitors any better colour quality wise?

I own same monitor and I don't understand this colour looks bad on theses monitors?
To me the look superb, but I never looked at a IPS so maybe that's why I think there superb.

Put it next to a good IPS panel and the difference is incredible, well to me anyway.

Fiddle with the settings and turn nvidia digital vibrance up a bit. While the IPS will have better colours/IQ you'll notice the drop to 60hz again.

I did hear bad things about colours on these monitors at stock and they need some fiddling to improve the colour. E.g I use yellow font a lot on here for the naughty people and the yellow looks almost brown!

There's some guides out there.

I use digi vibrance, definitely improves. And agree with you, cant go back to 60hz now

I have followed one, the chap who's a member of these forums I believes review site. Still, nowhere near how awesome an IPS looks.
