BenQ XL2411T dead?

So just switched on my PC and my monitor did not turn on, I fiddled with the plug socket at the back and it started making a buzzing noise with the monitor switching on for a few seconds then back off again.

Its now doing nothing no buzz noise and will not switch on, is the monitor dead? Anyway to fix this? or am i going to have to splash out on the XB270HU.

Same thing, just will not turn on tried a different monitor with the cables also, works fine.

Not 100% sure, got it on 12/08/2013, Have just put a ticket through on there site.

Doesn't sound good if none of the other connections are working, but then I'm no electricals expert. I'd guess it probably is broken.
