BenQ XL2411Z screen burn?

Hi guys, so I got a XL2411Z the other week. It had a dead pixel so I got it replaced, received 2nd one today and call me stupid; but is this not terribly bad screen burn in the top left? The contrast seems awful too.

This is also after I've tweaked the settings to match some top reviews 'ideal' settings. Really can not be arsed to RMA for the 3rd time!

I'm tempted to just go for a refund... It's a great monitor but really this can't be right.. I've read online and some have said try putting it to V2 firmware but this is already loaded with it.

I'm not too great with monitors, so wanted some other people's thoughts first...

Is that supposed to be displaying a white screen?

Set it back to orginial settings and if it persists rma.

Haha, not that bad! It's supposed to be 1 orange colour (the default in paint).

Lol that's good to hear.

Still doesn't look right I'm wondering if that's backlight bleed washing the colour out. Swap it to a full black screen and see if the same washed out area turns grey.
