Hello,

I have just fully upgraded my system now to:

3700x
X570 Ultra
RTX 2070S
2 8GB DDR4 3200 Mhz
1tb samsung 860 evo ssd
1tb crucial mx500 ssd
4tb wd black

Just connected 250gb samsung 840 evo, and 2tb seagate green

I have 2 BenQ XL24020T monitors
Purchased at 2012.

I was using DVI for my connections to my GTX 660Ti.
Now with the RTX 2070S, I am changing to DisplayPort connections.
Using the displayport cables from ocuk.
Currently no signal with using displayport or hdmi on the monitor.

Do adapters work?
dvi to displayport, or displayport to dvi?

I am just going to change back to my GTX660Ti to get my system working.

You'll need an active adapter to get higher than 60hz I think. I also think the BenQ doesn't auto switch inputs so just double check you have changed it to DP manually (probably a silly suggestion, but worth a mention).

First boot up with dvi cables and gtx 660ti - still no display.
Hmm

I havent changed anything prior to starting up.

Flash bios now?

Second thoughts, the monitor is not showing anything.
All fans, lights, cpu fan working.

Error light is boot problem.

Tried dvi , displayport, hdmi.
Computer just spins, nothing on the screen.

ps..

on the third or fourth attempt, i manually changed the input on the screen.
took me that long to realise.
