hi im happy with my pc so so im treating myself to a new monitor for easter well my mrs is buying it is the much better for 300pound than the benq i only use it for gaming really. but i really like the style of the samsungs

For a gaming the monitor you really won't do much better for £300 than the XL2420T, as the 120Hz TN panel means that fast motion feels smooth and the pixel response times are low (so less ghosting).

That said, if you don't mainly play fast-paced games (like FPSs) and prefer slower games then an IPS panel 60Hz monitor may be a better choice, as one of these offers more accurate colours and wider viewing angles.

Its by PCM2, who is a regular around these parts . I have the XL2420T and it really is amazing for gaming and all round monitor.
