BenQ ZOWIE XL2411 Faint Horizontal Line across monitor

I have had this monitor for about 2 months now with no problems but all of a sudden a faint grey horizontal line has appeared across the monitor, all drivers for my monitor and graphics card are up to date and i have tried unplugging the monitor then plugging it back in but that hasn't worked, when I lower my refresh rate to 60hz from 144hz the line disappears. Does anyone know what may be causing the problem or any fixes that may help? Thanks

It sounds like the panel may be faulty and need rma'ing to fix / replace but im no expert!
