Well I was listening to music via speakers when my friend accidently stood on the cable bending the pin inside the port. Managed to get it out but it seems that one of the contacts inside is bent as whenever I plug headphones or speakers in, the sound will only work if I hold and apply pressure to the cable in a certain direction. Since I bought the macbook on HE and has 3 years warranty do you think it will be repaired for free if I book an appointment at an apple store (since it is technically the users fault)?
