Bent pcb?

Hello,
I've been using an Aorus Master 5090 since December. I recently removed it to make some modifications to my PC, and I noticed a slight bend in the PCIe slot. I've searched online, and some other users have the same problem. Does anyone here have the same card? It would be good to know if it's a design flaw or if my unit is defective. I've been offered an Astral 5090 as a trade-in by a private seller, not a store. Is it worth it? Is the Astral noisier than the Aorus?

Is this card working fine? I've got the same card and I've had a GPU support on it since day one and not noticed that issue, have you had it supported? It's a really heavy card. If you've got any concerns why don't you RMA the card back to Gigabyte?

yeah i have it with the anti sag that came with the card
i've contacted gigabyte, and they've told me that its normal, but if the card begins to fail, the will recieve it and rma.

I can only see the front at the moment, but I had it out recently for an upgrade and didn't notice any flex in that area. I wouldn't worry about it if it's working fine personally.

I didn't notice it at first; in fact, I only realized it when I was taking a picture for something else hahaha
i get it, dont worry. I would really apreciate it if you could take a picture of that angle, but I know that involves removing the GPU from the case. When you upgrade or anything, please let me know.

I wouldn’t worry too much about that.

My concern is whether a solder joint might have come loose and damaged the GPU contacts, which could potentially cause a disconnection in the future. That's why I'm looking for people with the same GPU model to see if their unit has the same or a similar curvature.

I understand. But these PCB’s are more resilient than you think. I once accidentally stepped on a GTX Titan Pascal, and it was properly bent. So much so I claimed off my home insurance and got a new one. I then decided to actually try the ‘broken’ card after straightening it and it worked. If your card is working then just enjoy it. Just my 2 cents.

Thats fine, mine was the same.

The astral is a better card by far though in terms of build quality, id be doing the trade in.

Did you sold the aorus? Do you have any pictures of the pcb?
