Bent rad fins

Hi,

I bent a few fins somehow on my ek xtx 360 rad does not seem to leak can I still use? :confused:

Sure,it shouldn't affect performance if only a few are bent

There's cooling pipes deeper inside that the fins touch,so few bent fins won't hurt

Thanks wazza it's only two sections of 3 and a built a mini loop which seems to be working fine without leaks at present. My stupid large hands

Fins itself only cause leaks when they damage the copper chambers when tearing off them after an impact. You can slowly bend them back with something like a pin head, without risking a leak if it bothers you.

As you can see not really bad so will just leave them as is.

TBH wouldn't even really consider them bent fins.

Hi, just use a sowing needle to straighten them out just take your time.

that will be fine, its very little damage if you can call it damage,
