bent usb 3.0 pins

I have bent usb 3.0 pins on my mobo is there any way i can sort them or ai stuck with 2.0?

Try bending them back with a credit card.

As long as they are not broken you should be able to bend them back

some of the pins have more than one bend... I am thinking about getting a new mobo because this one is a pain, so should i just wait?

You have nothing to lose so try and bend them straight and see what happens

At least give bending them a go before buying a new motherboard. Should take all of about 15-20 minutes to have a good crack at it.

Bend them until they are roughly straight then put a header on them, slowly and very carefully but firmly, that will bend them until they are usable again.

Yeah,

I snapped a pin off my USB3 header so i bought a PCI card with 4 ports out the back of the case and a USB3 header so i could connect it to the front of the case.

this mobo has a bad problem where it will refuse to boot to windows and restart plus i dont have an io sheald (i know i dont need it but is scares me when pluging stuff in and its on that i will short it out). the mobo was a great starter in to x99 but might as well get some thing with a warranty. in all fairness i did buy a grade b mobo. i will try bending them back xD thanks
