I bought one of these units with my 2700x a couple of years ago and the manufactures instructions recommend that you replace/top up the fluid every two years.

The two years will be up at the end of the month and I'm thinking I should get around to doing it.

I've never tinkered with water cooling before so I just have a few questions

What coolant should I use?
Do I need any other tools?
Is there a proper way to do this?
Does it really need to be done as it sounds and quiet as when I bought it.

Any advise will be appreciated.

Thanks

Deionised water should do
Don't usually need tools except maybe slotted screwdriver depending on the port cap they use
You may need to remove it to top up depending where the fill port is
If it's not rattling or temperature hasn't increased then likely you don't need to
