"BeQuiet Pure Power L8" vs "Corsair RM" (Quality)

They are both quiet, granted, but I wonder which of them is better in terms of components, build, quality, etc.

Despite the RM almost doubling the price of the Pure Power I have read much more critics towards it, "it's silent but the quality is crap" and the likes.

I'm looking on the range of 650W since wattage can sometimes make a difference on units.

edit: I own a Dark Power P10, I like it but it has coil noise, apart of being BIG (and heavy).

The RM should be better as it is made by a better OEM.

Bequiet = HEC
RM = CWT

Also can you link to the PSU's in question as I can see the RM 650W is only £10 more than the L8 630W not double the price.

The not-modular 500W Range Pure Power L8 is 60€

Ah so a modular gold rated psu vs a non-modular bronze rated PSU.

I'd say it was worth the difference.

but there's no non-modular Corsair RM. I'm comparing the cheapest option for silent price/quality PSU. Everything above Pure Power is not worth.

Correct there is no non-modular RM PSU.

Its in a higher tier of quality compared to the BeQuiet.
