A fantastic actor, he had great on-screen presence. I'm sure my generation will remember him mostly for Lord of the Rings and Titanic, but I remember him most recently for his performance as the abrasive Lord Norfolk in Wolf Hall.

"Cromwell...why are you such a....person?"

RIP :(

First time I ever saw him was as Yosser Hughes in Boys From The Black Stuff and it was the performance of a lifetime and something I'll never forget - RIP

“The horn of Helm Hammerhand shall sound in the deep one last time. Let this be the hour when we draw swords together. Fell deeds awake. Now for wrath, now for ruin, and the red dawn”
