A report in the Guardian is saying that CVC may be looking to sell a large part of their stake in Formula One and Bernie will not continue regardless of the outcome in the Munich trial:

I honestly don't know whether this is a good or bad thing for the sport, I don't like a lot of Bernie's divide and conquer tactics and his policies on circuits over the last ten years, but at least he has a background in motorsport. The risk is that a purely business focused person will take over.

This has yet to be picked up elsewhere so it may be just be an unsubstantiated rumour, but the Guardian isn't usually far off with its F1 news.

Well it's going to happen at some point, but I'm really not sure how it will affect things to be honest.

Bernie is not a likable man but he is good at what he does.

Just thought, weren't there rumours about Horner taking over?... I don't even want to think about that possibility

The article seems to suggest that Horner is not in the running according to the 'insider' as its felt he "does not have the corporate background that is required for the job".

That's a worrying phrase if ever I heard one!
