just out of interest, is this a Frio/MSI product partnership or is this just an ocuk thing?

the reason i ask is because if it was an actual MSI/Frio thing they had going, you'd have thought they would have matched the colours a little better

Technically it is an MSI thing but they have done it exclusively for OcUK, agreed the fan could have been blue but at least you can change the fan

Yes you are.

The extra charge on top of the components, is to pay for the technicians time they spend, building, overclocking, configurating and quality controlling your system. It also pays ffor the 12 months of phone/webnote support and warranty.

These items above unfortunately are not free.

Would you expect a car to be expensive built or just in bits?

Allow me to disagree with you.
You build a system so you can sell more components at once thus making more profit. This "time spent building" is just a bad excuse in my eyes. When you go to the shop and buy a suit for example you do not expect to pay extra because someone matched it do you? When you buy a case of beer, you do not expect to pay more because it comes in a package. To use your car example: When you buy a car do you pay premium because someone spent time to build it and quality control it? Surely not. If you decide to buy all the parts a car has and build it yourself you would pay significantly more...
This is just my opinion.

It isn't a discount bundle, it is a pre-built system.

We do not sell them as discounted bundles or even wish to.

We offer the products and service (building etc) as one price.

This maybe your opinion but your opinion is wrong. Businesses do not do things for free unfortunately. If the case was otherwise, then it wouldn't be business.
