I bought a beryl ax hoping to use it on holiday. I'm staying at a centerparcs in the Netherlands. The Internet requires you click a connect button on a portal page. My phone connected with no problem. The beryl ax has been a nightmare.
After much messing around on the first day I managed to get my phone to show the portal page and get the ax connected. The following morning it had disconnected and I haven't managed to get it working since. It connects to the WiFi but just says no internet.
My phone has worked fine and mobile hotspot also works whilst connected.
I've followed many tutorials online. Cloned my phone mac. Altered dns settings. There is something about pre routing and ip tables but I have idea how to do this.
My first job on returning home is to return this piece of junk as faulty (I know it probably isn't faulty and it's my lack of knowledge, but as far as I'm concerned a travel router should be able to travel) unless someone can help me get it working?
Any insight is greatly appreciated.
