I currently have bes 4.1 on a win 2k3 server with mssql database installed locally on the server.
I want to upgrade to bes 5 using "cut over upgrade process" Which means building a new server and transferring the users across to the new server. As a part of this process i have to upgrade the database which is fine. But the problem is that the database is installed on the old server.

But that process seems very long winded. Anyone have any suggestions that i may have overlooked that would make the process easier ? Maybe i should just upgrade the existing server instead.
