Best £100 7" Android tablet

What would you get? It would be for general browsing and time wasting as well as 3D gaming. I used to have a first gen Nexus 7 which I really liked and remember playing GTA Vice City on it but some of the specs on tablets these days don't seem to be much better? And there are not many to choose from?

I found the Lenovo s8 50f was about the best I could find, although its 8". Its a few years old but gets great scores on various benchmarks (I forget which ones). None of the latest Lenovos seem to come close to the s8 50f. I have seen them go second hand for less than £100.
I gave up looking for one and bought a decent phone. I'll keep hold of my nexus 7 2012 for a while. The Nvidia shield seems to have died, there are no longer links to sellers on the Nvidia site anymore.
Some people will point you to the Chinese makes, but most of the best spec ones are not available unless you buy direct from China, and then you will be subject to VAT charges and VAT 'handling' charges.

The latest budget tablets are no better performance wise than they were 3 years ago.
If you can pick up a 2nd hand Samsung tab pro8.4 that would make a good purchase....just ensure it charges properly
