Best £100 card?

Best card for under £100? Been looking around and it would seem it's the 550ti?

Can't go above that. Only replacing a 7800GTX (rest of system is pretty good, gtx was weak link), so needs to be at least as powerful as that. Also can't go used either.

550ti then? or something better for same price? System is running a 530W bequiet purepower psu.

For sub £100 mate id go for the 6850 from amd. Check this comparison out!

Yes, go for the 6850 rather than the 550ti.

. Didn't even notice you could get that for under £100 . I'll grab one of them for it.

Will it be fine with the psu though. AMD say 500W, psu is BeQuiet Pure Power L7 530W.

Rest of system is
Athlon ii x3 450, 4th core unlocked
2 hdd
dvd drive
4GB ram

I guess amd are playing it safe with the 500W, but just want to make sure.

Certified for a single 5850 and 5870 which draw more power than a 6850, so will be fine .
