BEST 1000W power supply

    hello guys i need a 1000w power supply to run my computer i use 2 gtx 580 so a SLI one would do me the world of joy

    You already have a 1000w PSU? and you would only need about 750w for 2x580

    the connections melted i need another one plus i do alot of over clocking and have a few HDD and SD connected to my computer

    price wise maybe my max would be £180

    How old is the PSU? it probably has a 5 year warranty.

    I've not gone wrong with the coolermaster gold series yet. Don't go for the other coolermasters though they are not as good.

    yeh i returned it for an RMA they are giving me a refund so i need to get another.

    great choice

    its fully modular on one large rail with platinum rating and basically made by seasonic. you cant go wrong

    ohhh...and as you say looks real sweet :)

    i have changed my mind and it seems i may have to go for another power supply my buget is about £180
