I'm setting up a 5800x3D/6900 XT within a Fractal Torrent Compact and wondering what would be the best recommended 140mm fans to use?

I've heard good things about Arctic P14s, would they still be the best choice? I don't care about RGB but want something that functions great (quiet, durable, etc.)

Cheers

The usual suggested options would be:

Arctic P14, Thermaltake Tough Fan 14, and BeQuiet Silent Wings 4.

Noctua does not have a current competing 140mm fan. The A14 it currently has is many years old and uses an older fan design that's widly regarded as terrible for silence in more intense modern systems. Thermaltake is the closest to the potential Noctua 140mm upgraded (and not yet available) fan, but costs as much as a Noctua (without the service).

I asked not so long ago

seems it's P14 or Silent Wings
I personally went with Noctua but they do hum a bit over 50-60%, at that speed they are pushing quite a lot of air though, but if resonance hum annoys you skip noctua af14s

BeQuiet all the way - their noise profile is nicer than anything else I've tried... no fussy frequencies that others add - just the moving air.

Noctua are best. I currently use artic p14 and had no problems very cheap too. I have mine set up to come on when the CPU reaches 60 degrees but they are fairly quiet anyway
