Best 19" tft or larger for under £500 for gaming ?

hi , thinking of finally ditching my CRT mitsubishi diamondtron nf plus 200 and going tft . What is the best tft available for under £500 or there abouts ? Will be used for gaming and browsing web.

i have built a few systems recently using ag nevo f419 which seams pretty good for the sub £200 level . is there much quality gain by spending more , say up to £500 ?

Not sure really. I have had a few TFT's ranging in different prices and the quality has varied a bit. Depends on the person really. A £500 TFT might look the same as a £200 TFT to one person but not the other! Best thing when choosing a TFT is to get as many views as possible. See what people recommend etc.
 
if you want 20"WS then the NEC LCD20WGX2 would be an excellent choice. Check out the extensive review by our very own igors on this forum (do a search) and also here. Also plenty of info on it in the sticky. A very good choice for a gamer in this size bracket.

If you wanted to reduce the budget and/or look at 19" models then take a read of this article which should help :)
