Best 1920 X 1080 P

What are the best 1080p hdtvs out there?

What size?

I want to use it as a monitor and a tv with Sky.

I've found these two. Are there any others worth considering?

Samsung F71 around £1150 for 40", Goodmans one(can't recall name) 42" for around £950 and there's the sony one for some ridiculous sum

Personally id wait for Sharp new sets D92 HD1E in March i think they are coming HDMI 1.3, and 1080P through all inputs plus much better contrast ratio and 120HZ.

Cant say im amused about these banding problems on the XD1E set though Sharp dont seem to be doing anything about it.

But anyway id probs go for Samsung but 46"

if had to buy one now but depends if you really need 1080p on all inputs as Sharp has better SD quality but you might get set with banding.

this is my current setup
i want to replace my two screens with one high res hdtv, possibly get a 360 too

Well the Pioneer 5000ex is the 'best' 1080p TV but its 5k

LCD wise the Bravia X is the best. The Samsung has been slated by a few on AVF and the Sharps are full of problems. There is also a Bravia W thats same screen with different processing.

Best will depend on your budget in reality
