best 2.1 speakers

ok i need a nice set of speakers, i think 2.1 will be my best option but tbh i don't know anything about speakers, what is the best make/makes i should be looking at? i was thinking around 40quid max. i found: "Logitech X-230 - PC multimedia speaker system - 32 Watt (Total)" for like 25 quid with del, are they any good? i have been recommended to buy creative. some suggestions would be great! looking to spend like 40quid max
 
Just bought the Logitech X-230's and they sound great on my X-Fi. TBH I've not tried any other 2.1 setups to compare them to, but I'm well pleased with them so far, and for £ 25 seemed a bit of a bargain. Only niggle is that you can't control the headphone volume from the speaker volume control like I could on my old speakers. :(
 
Creative iTrigues would be good.

Although the Aego M would be fantastic by blowing your budget by twice the amt.
