Best 24" Monitor just for gaming.

Yep, time to upgrade, so looking for the best 24" monitor money can buy with a budget of £400. This will be for gaming only

On a side note are 27" Monitors anywhere in the same league as 24"?

Wish I had that monitor tbh. I have BenQ G2420HDBL 24" and it's good. Can imagine the 120Hz and 3D goggles to be breath taking.

From a purely gaming perspective:

The best is no longer in production - Asus vg236h. The Benq xl2420t is the best currently available.

If you want 27", there is the Asus vg278he 144hz model coming out in a few months. If 3D isn't a consideration it should prove to be the fastest 2D display yet.
