looking for a new 24'' monitor, as usual i thought of the Samsung SM-245B PLUS 24", then read more and thought of the OcUK Value L2442WD-VA 24", so more confused than ever, please tell me which, going in tomorrow to get one.

I would steer clear of the samsung it's TN panel
I own the OcUK Value L2442WD-VA 24" it's a very nice monitor. I'm quite happy with it. Only negative point is it's very bright.
IMHO best 24" is NEC 2490WUXi however it isn't sold in Europe. Then you would have to get the equivalent European version wich is the NEC 2690WUXi. It is however 26" and quite expensive. Both H-ips panel based.
Then there is the Hazro HZ24W s-ips which I hear good things about

I wouldn't touch the Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP. Too many bugs and far to much input lag as far as i can tell but perhaps owners of the new revision could advise you.
