Best 2407?

Was the 2407 ever fully sorted of its problems? if so, what revision is the best one to look out for??

I have a 20" 2007fp and I need a 24 as it has a matching vertical res to the 20.
The reason im interested in a 24" rather than a second 20 is because I found out today that the 2007FP is not HDCP compliant and will not display a picture from a PS3/360 via HDMI :mad:

so my plan of running my PS3 through a HDMI splitter to my 2ndary PC screen is out the window at the mo.

In fact... im only assuming the 2407 will have a HDCP DVI port?? Can anyone running a HDMI cable through the 2407s DVI port confirm that it works?

I think it's the A04 revision you are after . . .

the 2408 has a hdmi port to start with.... and displayport and everything else under the sun

The 2408 suffers lag? That's not acceptable to me.
Ok, so I haven't experienced it first hand, but im not willing to blow 400 quid to try it out.

A04, thanks Atomic, I'll dig a little deeper and see what I can find.

Hmmmm so people say. Sadly the only one i have seen is used for PCB design @ work so this isn't an issue there........

You can still find the 2407 A04 on the most obvious site

all of the Dell's above this suffer horrendous input lag, so all of them are useless to a gamer, just office monitor fodder.

Can anyone give me the exact height of the screen and of the surround of these 24" dells?

I'm assuming it will match the 20" becuase the vertical res is the same... but well... I'm just guessing.

Oh and another thing, the 2407WFPb is just a 'business' version and shouldnt differ in any specs at all apart from having b in the name.... right??
