I'm looking to buy 3 monitors, predominantly for gaming, mainly playing simulation, racing and some RPG games, for software development and working from home. I’ve seen a few monitors in the sale on Overclockers and I would ideally like a 27 inch, 1440p, 144Hz (or greater) monitor and have narrowed it down to these few and unsure which one is best out of them or if there is anything better.

LG 27GL850-B - £298.99 per monitor (£896.97 total)

Gigabyte M27Q-EK - £278.99 per monitor (£836.97 total)

MSI Optix G273QF - £258.95 per monitor (£776.85 total)

I will be using the stand which comes with the monitors for now, potentially purchasing a 3 arm monitor stand in the future. Ideally, I would like to spend no more than £300 per monitor. I’ve got an i7-7700k overclocked to 4.8GHz, 16GB 3000MHz RAM and an EVGA 1080 SC.

LG's panel has still one of the fastest response times for IPS.
But that (first gen?) Nano-IPS tech panel has sucky contrast for IPS from like dozen years ago.
So needs the bightest room illumination to avoid black looking bad.
Meaning it isn't good for slower paced atmospheric games.

Gigabyte uses lame "upside down" BGR subpixel layout panel from Sharp, which causes some text clarity issues in software using their own font system over ClearType.
Also response time isn't front row level.
Again contrast is above IPS normal, but not against competition:

MSI uses AU Optronics panel trading blows with LG in response time making it top level choise for gaming.
Also contrast is exceptional for IPS approaching 50% higher level than in LG and giving one the best blacks of IPSes good for games.
But stand is cheapo with barely any adjustments (only tilt) benefiting most from monitor arm.
Fortunately price difference should go long way for getting that monitor arm.

That's great, thanks so much for your detailed reply. Think it is going to be MSI then. Like you say, the price difference works out to be roughly £40 cheaper than my budget per monitor (£120 in total for all 3) so I'll probably just get a monitor arm or height adjustable VESA stands depending on price and if the monitor height is an issue. Thanks again for your help.
