With all these monitors out now which is the best one?
I did have set my heart on the 34" Dell one since I currently have the 29 wide version, but since coming out they seem to be pretty poor with this new 34er or should I just wait for anyone else?
Prices seem to range from £499-1k

Cheers

Wait. Especially with the 120hz/adaptive sync versions around the corner (maybe 4 months at a guess)

But recently it looks like the Samsung is taking the lead with no backlight bleed.

Ordered Samsung 34 will comment tomorrow current monitor lg 29 ips.

i orderd the 40" philips 4k but beging to wonder if i should cancel and get the samsung instead, im not sure i want to mess about with dual gpus to push the 4k

I'm in the same boat now. Had Four of the flat LG models. Three went back because of bad bleed and one went back because of a tearing fault so theres no way I can go for the LG anymore. The AOC has the same bleed as the LG from what iv read. The dell has issues and is being withdrawn and according to some on here the Samsung has ghosting and I don't really want to pay £200 more for a curve that I don't even want. I like my screen to be flat and flush with the wall behind it.
Seems theres not really much choice at the moment as they all have issues but the Samsung is the best option if you can't wait.

Yeah I waited long enough for Dell, but they seem to be screwed since the initial release shame really as I love my Dell 2913 Ultra Wide one. Sammy should be here tomorrow though :)

It's fast starting to looking like the Samsung 34" is the only reliable horse in town at the moment. Waiting to hear feedback from a couple of others who've ordered and but I'll probably go for it. The price tag is pretty steep for it just now though.

I had a Dell u3415w on order for over 2 months but ended up cancelling it after it started looking like it might be vapourware (here in the UK at least). I'd love to know what the story was behind the Dell 34" delays. It's weird how both the AOC and Dell 34" models were delayed here in the UK for months after their EU release. Can only assume it was either an issue with LG not being able to supply enough panels or Dell/AOC rejecting too many LG panels because of quality control issues such as backlight bleed?

My Sammy turned up today, WOW looks epic!

I'm not sure how to run it at 60hz on my Mac mini 2012 as it keeps telling me to on the screen, can only see 50hz ?!

I'm still mulling over whether to order the Samsung 34" 21:9 or go with an Dell 27"16:9 1440p monitor like the U2715H? I like the look of the Samsung but for the price of it I could buy 2 Dell U2715H's!

Anyone on here gone from a 27" 16:9 1440p to a 34" 21:9 1440p? Does it justify the extra expense?
