Best 360 mags?

In the wait for Friday when I can finally order my 360, I'm after something to cure my craving...

I fancy buying a 360 mag, read up a bit on some new titles.. or are the mags a waste of money and am I better off just visiting a few review sites.

Any recommendations?

Waste of time tbh, just have a look on google for 360 stuff..plenty of articles and reviews on the internet.

I agree.

Magazines just can't compete with the sheer volume of info available on the web these days.

You might see an early review or exclusive feature every so often, but that's about it.

I used to buy OX360M but got fed up with the fanboyness of it. Best places to check is the main gaming sites, and tbh if any news worth reading breaks, someone tends to post it on here also.

I also used to get XBox 360 (X360) but like Jumpers got fed up with the fanboyishness.

I now get 'Games'tm and thoroughly recommend it.

I've bought my fair share of 360 mags during the early days of the 360 and have to say that they are all extremely poor. There's a lot of decent PC mags out there, but by review/editorial content 360 magazines were awful, even the so called 'official' ones with their biased reviews.

Stick to the official word from gamers tbh.

Any bar the official one is good, but XboxWorld 360 is probably the best of those I've read in recent months. There used to be one called "360" which is one of the best written magazines I'd ever read around launch, but something happened and they changed the entire writing team for a bunch of monkeys with typewriters.

I'd say if you really want one go for XboxWorld 360 or Xbox360 World (dunno which it's called), or Edge because most new games are Xbox360 anyway (in terms of reviews). The days of great magazines are over though since the Internet's boomed.
