What batches should I look out for 8Pack?

I have the cooling to handle and want as close to 5Ghz as possible if not dead on 5Ghz.

Just got my new Gigabyte Z77X-UP7 board so should have no issues taking a chip up that high.

That is a damn good board, i was going to get one, but in the end i decided it was too expensive and went for the mpower. I hope you manage to find a good chip to go in that badass board.:D

its just the luck of the silicon lottery, unless you work for intel

as for the board youll have no problems going 5ghz+ just comes down to the cpu regarding voltages and cooling ect

how come you upgraded from a 2600k @ 4.8ghz?

Out of interest 8pack, what was your best 3770k regarding less v when it came to 5Ghz, if you did ever test that.

I've got my 3770k running 4.4 @1.130/5v and with not much testing got it running 4.5 @1.175 (I haven't tried to see if it runs lower at 4.5)

I'm thinking of upgrading my cooling just to see If I can hit the Magic 5GHz, it won't be a 24/7 thing, just to see if it will achieve it then back down to 4.5 :D

Got a chip that Cosya Rica week 37

Can't find any OC results, even trailing through HWBot serial and batch number thread turns up nothing.

You know anything of this batch 8pack?
