recommend me £50 headphones

hi all, my HD202 senns left earphone just stopped working, i checked everything out and cant find the problem. tested it on my pc, hi fi and tv and left ear doesnt work, it must be broke.

anyway, this is quite good cos im gonne buy some new ones, i have around £40 - £50 to spend on headphones.

my headphones prioraties are below

Music(rock/indie/emo :p ) - Games (fps + mmorpg)

music is just as important as games, they are of equal importance.

i have a soundblaster audigy SE 5.1, now i know this aint great but should be o.k. for now, i cant afford an x-fi :(

i liked my senns but they werent anythin special but i suppose that comes with the price (£20), mind you im using my dads panasonic rp-ht225 headphones that cost around £15, and they are horrid, absolutely terrible

i am totally open to ideas that are within my budget, i can possibly stretch a tad bit more if its realy worth it, but would prefer not too.

please help me :D

i wasnt planning on going for a headset, but ill have a look at some reviews.

how do the hd515 compare? and medusa surround sound + amp?

surround sound headphones are pretty poor, i had a pair of Medusa's they were ok i suppose - But the 515's are nice best in the price category imo, and much better than Medusa's which break all the time

Without spending silly money - the 2 headphones Id recumend best are

Sennheiser PX100 -over the ear!

JVC FX33 Marshmellows - in ears The beat my past fav for price the Creative ep630's and the JVCs are only £15

i got £50 i wanna spend it on proper headphones, i think im gonna go hd 515, still unsure, i was seriously considering medusas, but i want great music quality, as well as gaming, so i think it might be HD515, are there any competitors to the hd515? that are just headphones.

ive just found the hd555 with competitor for £57, not sure how much delivery is, but i think ill buy these, any1 got any info on these? are they good for music/games?

edit: im going for the sennheisedr hd 485's. they suit my music type more and they are cheaper, and i like the detatchable connector, + its in one ear and its got a little hook with it so you can hang ** headphones on the side of your desk, wahoo!!! merry christmas :D

Sennheiser PC150 headpones are great. i'm sure a lot more people will recomend these ;)
Agreed ^^^

Owned mine for a good few months now and they have took a fair old beating but are still in 1 piece and the main thing is they sound good :D

I got some HD555's after my brother broke my Technics cheapo ones and the difference is imense. I didnt expect them to be so much better, they are far more comfy for a start, much clearer sound and the bass isnt overpowering due to the open back. I was worried about leakage with the open back but even when i have games on quite loud they dont bother my brother so im chuffed :D .
